Barbara is an adventurous and friendly soul whose passion for meeting and helping people, combined with her 24 years of administrative experience in zoning and permitting naturally led to her successful real estate career. Serving clients in both Massachusetts and NewHampshire, Barbara has developed a strong following based on her service-oriented client-centric approach by regularly asking one simple question: How can I help?

When asked about her business philosophy she responded, “I am honored by my clients’ trust in me. Therefore I take special care to listen to their questions, concerns and needs. I am patient and invest the time they need to find the right home. I enjoy the challenge and adventure of assisting clients in their journey to purchase or sell a home”.

Her sense of adventure and curiosity about other cultures and places led to extensive travel during high school and college as an exchange student in Norway and a college & post-graduate student in England, Spain, Austria, Quebec, Canada, and Ireland. As a result, Barbara is multilingual with proficiency in Spanish, French and Norwegian. Thanks to her Irish grandmother who emigrated to the US as a teen, Barbara holds dual citizenship becoming an Irish citizen during her post-graduate studies. She has also traveled to Fiji, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and France.

After returning to the United States, Barbara settled North of Boston in the Merrimack Valley where she had a career of more than 24 years employed by the Town of Andover. As the Administrative Secretary to the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Building Division, Barbara advised customers on the local zoning bylaw and state permitting requirements, processed various permits and administered the zoning application and public hearing process. Barbara also assisted the Design Review Board during her final year at the Town of Andover.

A mother of two children, Barbara is a strong supporter of the local food bank – The Village Food

Hub in Andover. When she is not helping real estate clients, Barbara enjoys yoga, meditation,
